Welcome to My Blog

Hello,

After having a friend of mine ask on another friend's blog if I have a blog, I started to think about it, a lot, at work, so I decided to start one thinking that I perhaps have something useful to say, and I am terrible about keeping up with friends that aren't close in proximity (and some that are) so this will give me a chance to stay in better contact and let people know what is going on with me. I chose this title because I try to carry a balanced common sense about life, think about all sides of an issue, but I am also very passionate about what I believe. I find that wisdom and simply being reasonable have taken a serious nose dive in our culture. Or perhaps I am only now understanding what has always been lacking. I will probably also include plenty of music, movie, and book reviews, fun quotes, and reflections on Scripture. Plus lots of observations made from world news and simply learning from what life brings. I hope you enjoy entering into my world. One thing I highly value is consistency, so watch me expose my inconsistencies before your very eyes while I rant about others. I also highly value honesty and Truth, even if it is not always pretty, so there are times where I may be a little vunerable, but only because I find difficulties and struggles most thrive in secret, and when talked about openly often can be very helpful, because my struggles are not mine alone, but simply what humanity has been dealing with since it decided that being God was preferable to serving God. Hopefully in all this there is some wisdom. And that I don't get myself in trouble.

And for the fun of it, since I am a music nut, I will post what I was listening to while I type and entry. This was typed to the first Days of the New self-titled album (their second one was self-titled also).
