I have an interview at Parkway Church of Christ in Fulton, KY this weekend (only 15 miles away).
I have applied to Harding Grad School to start in the fall or spring.
Current Reading: "The Ragamuffin Gospel"-Brennan Manning, and "The Journey of Desire"-John Eldridge
Latest CDs' purchased-"Add to the Beauty"-Sara Groves, "A Mighty Wind: The Album" soundtrack, "Two Lefts Don't Make a Right...But Three Do"-Relient K (that catches me up on all their albums), and "Mockingbird"-Derek Webb, which I will have to review, because it again is brilliant, beautiful, difficult, and bold.
I have been thinking about a few posts recently, so let me know which one you want me to do, because that will give me motivation to write it. They are: 1) How easily love and control are confused, but are polar opposites; 2) Rule of Life-Everybody Farts (I have some more of the 'Rule of Life' posts but I can't remember them at the moment, and my first one wasn't the greatest; 3) An interesting new wave of psychiatry (I know Tom Cruise will not vote for this one); 4) Catch up on what has happened with me in the past year; 5) any CD review you want me to make, or book review; or movie review; 6) Submission and Ephesians 6; 7) God's Wrath and how He punishes sin. 8) Rule of Life-Don't Take Needless Offense; 9) Jobless Single Minister Rant (I've made this one before, but now I am much better at it, but for it to be good, I have to be frustrated, and right now I'm not.) 10) My Surprise Feelings and Thoughts about helping to raise my niece; 11) Why "Imagine" by John Lennon is a terrible song I like.
Ok, I wrote them all down so I guess I have to get to them at some point. I do much better when I obligate myself. But I'm not writing tonight because I subbed this morning, closed tonight and sub again in the morning.
(Written to Radiohead-Kid A. In case your wondering, I am currently listening to all of my albums at random. I printed them up, cut them, and put them in a big ice cream bucket. Then I pull one out and that is what I listen to. It's a fun way to go through my music library. Maybe that also helps explain why they seem to be so random.)

Speaking of John Lennon check this out: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,11069-2149186,00.html
You have a lot of writing to do. So do I but i don't have enough guts to let everyone know what to be expecting. I'm trying a different approach to blogging, or not blogging as the case may be. Enjoy the article and make sure and read the last paragraph.
I'll take a #8 combo meal with a side order of John Lennon and a Tom Cruise-flavored hot sause packet.
And I'm joking....
I tried this once on my blog (asking my readers as to what I should write in my next entry), and four or five people reminded me that blogging was a "This is what I'm thinking about right now!" journal. By asking me to vote, you are giving up some control of your next blog entry. I thought it was an interesting experiment, and most of my readers asked me to write about life in general.
So, "Jobless Single Minister Angst" or "what I've learned from my niece" would make a nice piece.
niece.
psychiatry.
number 7. (forgot what that one was)
the problem is that they don't have sirens here so we have to judge on our own.
I never liked that Lennon song.
I would vote for the "Jobless Single Minister Rant," because I don't know that I've ever heard it, being that I only hear about you on your blog. So, yeah!
Also, Sara Groves is my FAVORITE and that album is awesome, especially track 3, "You are the Sun."
(P.S. thanks for the comments on my blog!)
I vote #1.
