Now If I Can Figure This Thing Out

Ok, so I'm trying to get links to my friend's blogs and a few other interesting things put on my sidebar, and I am trying to get a picture of me uploaded. I looked it up on 'help' but it was no help. So how do I get some those things on my blog? I would use a Blogging for Dummies book, but I won't be able to understand those until they come out with a Dummy Books for Dummies. Step by step help is much appreciated.

blogrolling.com helps you enter all your favorite sites. you enter them there, insert the code on your blog, and poof! the links are there.
1. on the blogging page, looking at your blog, on the top left is a link that says "blogger." click on it.
2. when you see the name of the blog you wish to edit, click on "change settings."
3. up at the top there are some tabs that say "settings" "template" etc. click on "template."
4. you will see a million lines of text. hopefully there somewhere will be a place where the template is talking about sidebar. find where in that list you want "links".
5. paste in the code that blogrolling gave you and save the template. hopefully you will then have some links on the side.

photos:
1. create an account on photobucket.com and upload whatever pics you want for your blog.
2. copy the field "url" underneath the pic you want for your profile.
3. paste it down where it says "photograph url".
4. save changes, then go look at your profile page. Magic!

blogrolling also has a feature whereby when you find a page you want to remember, you just click "blogroll it".

also when you reply to comments on this site, the person you replied to does not get the reply in email, only on the page.

I figured it out, I was putting the links in the wrong place. I know nothing about computer programming in the least, so I guess I just learned something. And whoo-hoo, first blog comments.

I don't know anything either. I try to get by with as little HTML know-how as possible. :)
